IOGEAR MicroHub GUH274 USB Hub

Strengths: Small size, Portability, Multi-TT "Tetrahub" chipset

Weakness: Small size, Does not come with a USB extension cable

I purchased this hub because it features Cypress's "Tetrahub" chipset. It is Multi-TT, which means that USB 1.0/1.1 and USB 2.0 Full Speed devices get a full 11Mbps per port, rather than sharing 11Mbps as on other USB hubs. Performance on my USB 2.0 High Speed devices is as good as ever, and improved on my USB 1.1 devices. The small size is beneficial for portability, but in a desktop setting it...

IOGEAR MicroHub GUH274 USB Hub

Strengths: Nice and compact, easy to get out of the way.

Weakness: Cord is shorter then I expected, only 2 inches.

The IOGear 4 Port USB 2.0 MicroHub is a very nice product, only weakness that I come across is the cord is very short. Other then that very nice product, easy to use and fast setup.

IOGEAR MicroHub GUH274 USB Hub

Strengths: Perfect size for laptop computers easy installation

Weakness: None that I can tell so far

I only had 2 USB ports in the back of my laptop. Now I have 5! I love how small and compact it is. I agree with the other reviewer that I can't tell what the purpose of the AC adapter is because it seems to work fine without it. When I originally plugged it into my computer, it gave me a message that I had plugged a high-speed device into a non-high-speed port, but I really haven't seen anything...

IOGEAR MicroHub GUH274 USB Hub

Strengths: With this hub, i can have four more spaces for usb. It's really helpful.

Weakness: The line for this hub is too short.

This hub is good for laptop, small and easy to carry. The space for usb is from 2 to 5 and the speed for it is acceptable.

IOGEAR MicroHub GUH274 USB Hub

Strengths: - Small Size - Integrated USB Dongle - Style

Weakness: - Clamshell design

This is the best portable USB 2.0 hub on the market, and believe me I've looked. It's smaller and simpler than all the rest. It's only 3 1/2" long, 1 1/2" wide, and 1/2" thick, and the USB dongle folds into a compartment on the bottom instantly. It also looks really cool with its 3D case. The seem in the case makes it feel flimsy though, and it makes soft cracking noises if you twist it. All in...

IOGEAR MicroHub GUH274 USB Hub

Strengths: Compact, small, compatibility

Weakness: Gets a little hot

Its a great little USB hub for my Dell laptop. I've never had a problem with it not being compatible. Only thing is that it gets a little hot, but it has never caused a problem or a reduction in performance.

IOGEAR MicroHub GUH274 USB Hub

Strengths: small

Weakness: needs power adapter. length of usb cable too short

hard to access because of short cable from hub to pc usb port. this usb 4 port hub requires a power adapter while other hubs availble require no power adapter and are powered by the usb port on the desktop. this becomes very inconvient.
